New Communities is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to oversee the dietary department at Pinewood Terrace, located in Farmington, ME. It is a 30-bed assisted living community for seniors who want to remain independent while getting the individualized support they need with daily living activities. The role: As the Dietary Supervisor, you will support seniors to live life fully through working as part of the dining team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our residents have access to healthy and delicious meals while maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment. Your duties will include:

• Works at the direction of the Administrator and dietary consultant to meet resident dietary needs
• Orders food and dietary supplies timely and in alignment with budgetary and resident dietary needs
• Manages food inventory to include appropriate rotation, labeling, storage, use, and disposal
• Ensures the dietary consultant approved menu is followed and any changes to the menu are timely and appropriately documented.
• Works as a cook, a dietary aide or provides direct care when needed

Full-time 40/hour per week hourly position available. Pay up to $20/hr.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Serve Safe Certification required
• Four years of experience in food service setting required
• Supervisory experience preferred
